Just got back from a short break in beautiful Venice. What an incredible place. The weather was perfect and I’ve never walked so far in my life! It’s a lovely day here in York, gorgeous sunshine and blue skies, but it’s definitely much, much colder.

Lovely walk this morning to one of my favourite woods. Can’t help but love the sloes. I so want to make sloe gin but I just can’t be bothered – so lazy. They are such an unexpected burst of colour amongst the green too.
